Join us for a time set apart for women to share, to ponder, to pray, to listen, and learn together. We will consider the significance of a labyrinth and walk our own courtyard labyrinth. We will learn more about our worship and our symbols. As we choose to do so, we will share our pain and our joys, all enfolded in prayer. The group will define its focus. Four Saturdays in March (7,14,21,28) from 10:00 to noon. The first meeting on the 7th will be in the church, but the rest will be in the Mission House. Contact Pastor Deena Galantowicz at 461-9747 for more information.

Wednesdays in Lent: A simple Soup and Salad pot luck at 6pm followed by a video & discussion "Saving Jesus." We'll ask a couple of people to signup to bring pots of soup and others can add salad and dessert. At 7pm we'll watch a segment of the video "Saving Jesus" and follow it with a discussion. Join Marcus Borg, John Dominic Crossan, Matthew Fox, Amy-Jill Levine, James Forbes and a host of others for an exploration of the relevance of Jesus Christ for the third millennium. Stations of the Cross is a meditation on the last steps of Jesus. At each of the fourteen "stations" there is an artistic rendering of the events of the last hours of Jesus' earthly life. Participants move from stations to station stopping at each one to reflect upon the event through a simple liturgy. Lay leaders will be present each Wednesday at 5pm to lead Stations of the Cross, but it can also be done as a individual meditation at any time.
Our Lenten Season begins with the Ash Wednesday service of Holy Eucharist and the Imposition of Ashes at 5pm on February 18.
