E-Waste Collection
Calling all those who are concerned about climate change, rising sea levels, the rapid extinction of animal species, seismic testing off our coastline, fracking, deforestation around the world, moutaintop mining in Appalachia, and other environmental issues. An Earth Day Concert on the Commons with the Peacenix with Lonesome Bert … good music to accompany our shared anxiety about the future of our planet. We’ll also be collecting e-waste … old computers and accessories, batteries, phones, chargers, cable boxes, TVs, VCRs, etc. to keep them out of a landfill. St. Cyprian’s is located on the corner of M L King Avenue and Lovett St. in the historic Lincolnville neighborhood. Bring a chair, a beverage of your choosing, and an appetizer to share. Since Compassionate St. Augustine is one of the sponsors climate change deniers are also welcome to attend.
